Visit us at the aquarium this December – the perfect place for a beautiful winter day. With new Christmas lights, trees and decorations, plus loads of fun things to see and do, treat yourself to a festive fishing experience at the NMA this holiday season.
As you know, Santa Claus is a very busy man. Fortunately, he likes to stop by the NMA every December to dive in our big tanks – not even he could resist seeing our amazing animals and saying hello to our dear visitors! He will come back to us every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and dive at 1:30 p.m.!
The aquarium is currently much quieter on weekdays. So if you want a relaxing experience and see Santa Claus dive in the tanks (maybe even take a naughty selfie with him).
Santa dives will take place on the following dates in December 2020:
- Friday 11th.
- Monday the 14th.
- Wednesday the 16th.
- Friday 18th.
- Monday the 21st.
- Wednesday 23rd.

Quiet in the aquarium
This winter our quiet event is back for a Christmas special after work.
Come join us on Monday the 14th at 5:30 PM for this special two hour event where families and people with autism can enjoy our exhibits without the noise and distraction of our daily shows.
Visitors can explore all of our exhibits without the normal amount per day. So the focus is really on our amazing animals (and of course our new fabulous Christmas decorations). The event is tailored to people with autism and other sensory needs.
Dine in the aquarium
Our popular VIP Dine at the Aquarium events are returning for a Christmas offer! Join us for a festive evening with food, drinks and a view from the table like never before.
These events sell out quickly. So if you want to spoil someone special with a four-course Christmas dinner in front of our exhibits, book now so you don’t miss a thing!
